We are in the second year of this ‘pandemic’ and what bothers me the most is the restrictions on religious gatherings. It is sad to see that the churches are close yet, other social areas are open. It is as if that the viruses are congregating more on the church grounds and not in restaurants, pubs or malls.
Other than that, the elected leaders are not even trying to make anything work for the church. They did not give a lieu way. The funny thing is that they can make exemptions for other establishments but not for the churches.

God Used King Artaxerxes
According to history, King Artaxerxes was the husband of Queen Esther. She was a Persian queen who was born Jew. Like Cyrus, God used Artaxerxes for His plan. In his letter to Ezra, King Artaxerxes cited that there is punishment for those who disobey the Law of God and the law of the king.
Do you notice the difference in what is going on today? John Adams, the second president of the United States of America said, the rights of the Englishmen are derived from God, not from the king or Parliament, and would be secured by the study of history, law and tradition. Yet, that very source of the rights he points out is being blurred by the people in power. And the people are either following blindly or agreeing without even studying the subject they are consenting.
Reflection
This is the time for your journaling. Reflect on these questions. Ask the Holy Spirit to test your faith and your walk with Christ.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? — 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV

Prayer
Holy Father, who dwells in heaven. You are the ruler of all your creations. We give you thanks for creating us and the world we live in. O Lord, thank you for the gift of eternal life. May the Holy Spirit be with us as we wait for your second coming. Let the Holy Spirit fill us with hope and strength despite the obstacles we face. O God, we lift to you our worries and may you hear our pleas. Grants us, O Lord, another opportunity to physically congregate to fulfill our purpose and that is to worship your holy name.
We pray these in the miraculous name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
