When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
Fear of Battle
We tend to be afraid when faced with opponents that are stronger than us. These may be persons and/or even difficult situations that we have to face. But remember what God has said to Israel, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. And like what God did to the Israelites, He did the same for us. When He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to free us from the bondage of sin, and fight our battles.
Therefore, when you are facing a difficult situation in your life right now or in the future, have faith and have no fear. Focus on our Savior Jesus Christ and trust in Him. He is mightier and more powerful than any heavy battle you will face.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ, who saved us from our sins even before we acknowledged that we are sinners. Thank you, Lord God, for your grace in our daily lives. May the Holy Spirit bless us with a courageous heart and not fear anything for we trust in a mighty Saviour, Amen.
