Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Fear of Unknown
When we moved to a different town to live in, I was afraid of all things that I do not know or may happen that are out of our control. Uncertainties and the Unknown always are the hard things to battle. We as people tend to be controlling. We want to control everything that is happening in our lives or at least we want to know what will happen. But that is not the reality. There is only One that is in control always, our Sovereign and Almighty Lord God. Moreover, He knows the past, present and future. Nothing surprises Him.
Hence, let us trust our Heavenly Father, who is omniscient and all-powerful. Do not be afraid to follow His command for it is for your own good. Have faith in Jesus Christ who has sacrificed Himself to save you from eternal damnation. Repent from all your sins for these hinders you to submit to God’s will.
Prayer
Almighty Father, we love you and give thanks for your unending love. We thank you for the eternal life you give us through your Son, Jesus Christ. May the Holy Spirit soften our hearts to know your will and also soften the hearts of those who have not yet surrendered their lives to You, Lord God. We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
