And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.
Fear of Death
Two years into this so-called pandemic, people continuously remain in fear of suffering from the illness or dying from it. Today’s verse, clearly depicts who knows the hour of our deaths. It is only our Heavenly Father who knows when and how each of His creations will die for He numbered our days.
Therefore, let us not waste our time fearing what can corrupt the body. Rather, let us be more in awe of how our Lord God has magnificently and wonderfully made our physical body and takes care of it as it is the temple of His Spirit.
Prayer
Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for making us in your image and likeness. Thank you, Lord, for the immune system that you have blessed us with to combat any illness and diseases. We pray, Lord God, that you will heal and comfort those who fear this illness. Moreover, give us understanding through your Holy Spirit, to know the real priority that we should have, that we will repent from our sins and accept your Son, Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Saviour. We pray in Your name, Amen.
