At the final judgment, everyone will stand before God alone.

The end of times is no longer talked about in social gatherings. Why? Because people have forgotten the One whom they will meet and give their final reports on that day. Moreover, the truth now is relative. And so we live by our standards and what our morals dictate to us. People have forgotten that there is a basis of what is Truth. It is scary, is not it? if you do not tremble even for a little bit, continue to read this article.
Bible Reading
Today’s devotional reading is from the Book of Mark 6:30. Please, read our recent devotional from the Book of Revelation 1:19: Why Is It Important To Know Details In History?
The Apostles’ Final Report
Jesus sent the apostles two by two and gave them authority to minister to those who are tormented by evil spirits and the sick (Mark 6:7-13). Furthermore, He has commanded them to proclaim the gospel to all nations (Mark 16:15). When the Apostles returned to Jesus, they gave Him the report of all that they have done and taught.
The apostles, which mean messengers, went back to Jesus to report to Him two things; (1) all that they have done, and (2) all that they have taught. The acts of the apostles were made possible because of the faith they have in Jesus and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It was not their abilities who healed the sick. Moreover, the teachings that they have shared were through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit guiding them, and the seed that was given to the people will be cultivated by the Spirit of God.
Notice that the apostles even if they were sent in separate ways by two’s their messages and acts point to One Being, and that is the Triune God.
Are You Ready For Your Report?
Like the apostles, we will also come back to Jesus and give Him our final reports, both what we have done and what we have taught or shared with others. Of course, our works are not going to be the quantifier if we will be saved. However, it is going to be evidence of how well we lived our faith in Christ.
Therefore, my brothers and sister, let us not be relaxed and do not wait for tomorrow to get right with Jesus. We must confess our sins, repent from our wicked ways, and live with the Holy Spirit. You will never know when you will have to give your final report.
Reflection
This is the time for your journaling. Reflect on these questions. Ask the Holy Spirit to test your faith and your walk with Christ.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? — 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV.
- Do you believe that there will be a judgement day?
- What are we going to see when we die?
- Are you ready to provide your report to Christ?
- How well did you live your life?
- Did you get right with Jesus Christ? Accept Jesus Now.

Prayer
Our Father in heaven, holy is your name. We ask that you purify us with the Holy Spirit. May you show us our faults that we will be able to confess them to you and turn from them. O Lord, Jesus Christ, let your examples be in our lives and may we be able to live them every day.
Let us not cling to this world, Lord, but may we cling on to your words. Guide us towards the path that will lead towards you.
We pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
